Named as the "Lost city of the Incas", Machu Picchu is one of the most visited tourism places of
the world. Landsat image of this mythical city located in the heart of Peruvian Andes, that it survived the
Spanish invasion due to its dificult geographic access. Despite being believed a legend, the
remarkable US explorer Hiram Bingham discovered this magnificent city in 1911, guided precisely
by the references of that myth. Ironically, this city, that was inaccessible for the Spaniards,
today have numerous and colorful access routes, as well as, modern and comfortable hotels.
Despite the great presence of tourists in this wonderful place, great care has been had in to
